The Argentine Post, a blog by a U.S.-born journalist who has lived in South America for the past decade or so, recently posted a well-researched and thorough critique of the New York Times‘ recent travel feature on the expat art and culture scene in BsAs. Apparently, a very similar story appeared in Newsweek last January, and this is far from the first time that the author of the Times piece has been accused of marginal journalistic ethics.

though i read the new york times religiously, i don’t trust it like i once did. they’ve got some good fiction sometimes.
